Introduce a Book

Hallow everyone! Today, I will introduce about a book. The book is "Mrige-shakai(Society like a game that is impossible to clear)" written by Akira Tachibana. The general contents of the book in that. Modern society looks liberty, but actually it may so unpleasant to live in. 

You have to success socially and economically, and to get happiness in dazzling world. It is a game that is impossible to clear, and you have to do it by oneself. This in author's insistence. Everyone be able to success by intelligence and effort. Because of that, society will be divided to highly intelligent senior citizens and low intelligence lower citizens. A best-selling author wrote about these taboos of the intelligence gap. He will reveal the true nature of "unreasonable games" from various angles. The book is divided into eight chapters. Today, I will introduce about the part which is written about dystopia where the world is headed in the future. 

First of all, children are forced by adults to have dreams. Children raised in a liberal environment, so they become more skeptical of education than previous generations. Children think that "to study in need for me, but I will not use it in the future", so they will not feel the need for it. Furthermore they will become indifferent about studying. There seems to be some high school students who don't see the value in the education of a college. Or, they give up on learning and lose hope in education because they think that they are not good at study and can't study enough. In the mean time, young people faced with loneliness and few relationships which was made by the internet. The number of people whom they make friendships is decreased dramatically. They will be looking for responses on SNS. And in a meritocratic society, you are always responsible for your own actions. You can't blame your status. If you don't succeed and are unhappy, it's your own responsibility. It is a cruel conclusion. But when they are young, they may hope for the future because of ignorance. They will be really hard when they are in their 40s and 50s.This is when they recognize their hierarchy, their small income, their singleness, and the burden of old age. In fact, there are people in their 40s and 50s in Japan who want the right to commit suicide without suffering.

How did you think about that? If you Think about all these things, you will feel down. However, it is the matter which can occur for us. I think it is important to interested in the things like this. In this time, I introduced only about the minor dimension about liberal society, but there are many other interesting topics in this book. Please read this!
